Penrose Lane New Shows! |

Left to right, meet Danny Witherow, Ralph VanDuers, Randy Kaping and Richard Easton!
Penrose Lane has been a very good band for a long time. We are able to attract great talent and we have some of the finest musicians anywhere working with us. There are different musicians for certain shows. We are able to have the best people bring their specialty depending on that show's requirements or geographical location. Come to our next show to meet some of these hip cats!
Also, behind the scenes: a special thanks to our Manager/Advisor Kathy. Thanks to our road crew, Bob, Andy and Mr. Keene....couldn't do it without you guys!
And finally, thanks to John, Paul, George, Ringo, Mick and Keith without whom the world would be a much less happy place!
Special note for musicians: Penrose Lane wants you! Penrose has a great line-up of musicians but we are ALWAYS looking for that special person who is a great musician that loves 60's rock...and knows how to have fun on stage. If you can sing and or play any instrument that would normally be in a rock band, have professional level skills, great stage presence and want the experience of a life time, call Randy at 509 529-2022.

Penrose Lane was started by Randy. Randy has a great voice for rock,
pop and country music, plays keyboards and lead
guitar as well as bass guitar. Randy is a very friendly musician who has a lot of
fun with the band and our audiences. Stop by and say hello at one of our
performances won't you?

Meet Richard Easton!
Meet Penrose Lanes Richard Easton seen here recreating 'Paul' in Sgt. Peppers garb
(above right) and as you might see him in 'real life' (above left) performing live on stage in both photographs.
Dick is an extraordinarily gifted musician and is seen here playing bass in
one of our 'Beatles' concerts. Dick plays many instruments including
bass, guitars, and keyboards. Dick has a gift for picking out just the right harmony part in a song and has been an invaluable asset to
The Penrose Lane Band's vocal sound. Check it out!
Come by and say hi to Richard soon!

Meet Ralph VanDuers. Gifted guitar player, cool mustache and nice guy! Gets it!
Come and see Ralph at a Penrose performance and get your instant karma!

Meet Danny Witherow, cool drummer with cool Slingerland drums! Come say
hello to Danny and listen to some of the best drumbeats to come out of the
sixties!

It's official! Our home-town of Walla Walla Washington has an official city street named 'Penny Lane'! Near the scenic drive of Mill Creek we have an official 'Blue Jay Way'! We also have an official 'Strawberry fields forever' with Klickers world famous strawberry fields just east of Walla Walla. Penrose Lane is proud to be based out of a relatively small town, but a town which has a contingent of 'artsy' thinkers and very much appreciates what a treasure live music is. Penrose Lane is dedicated to keeping the music of The Beatles alive! Rock on!!!
Penrose Lane has added it's own version of 'Neil Aspinall' to the band in the person of our best friend ever, Mr. Andy Anderson. Andy has 'looked after us' and helped us in so many ways it would be impossible to know how to thank him but here it is anyway: Thank you Andy!

Most Beatles Tribute Bands have the familiar Rickenbacker 325V63 'black Ricky' but Penrose Lane has in addition to the 325V63 a Rickenbacker 325V59 'Hamburg' in the natural
'Mapleglo' color as John used in Hamburg and through the Cavern period. John had the color of this guitar changed to black from the original natural color. This guitar was stolen from him on the first US tour. He then replaced it with the 325V63 'Miami', the black guitar as seen in most of the Beatles photo's in the early to mid '60's. We also have just received a vintage Hammond Leslie. The Beatles used the Leslie in their later period (I Want You She's So Heavy). It is a true piece of rock history and very much in keeping with our commitment to keep early rock and roll alive in the most original way possible. You will definitely want to come check out these cool instruments at our next equipment display!
